A Heroine Is Born! (#5)

The mega centipede let go off the baby owl and went now for us instead. "Guess, we should run!", I suggest while staring at the creature's immensely sharp and long teeth. A loud bark followed by a three headed dog jumping out of the brushes makes the creature stop dead. The dog now stands in front of us and starts to shoot random spells at the creature. Ice shards, thorns and something that looks like butterflies are hitting the monster which starts to flee in panic. 

Then the dog turned around, threw us on the ground and started to lick our faces like crazy. "Inuki, let go off them!", a man suddenly shouted obviously amused. "Hey, are you alright?", he asked while helping us get up. "I am Skeld and this guy here really needs some more training, right!", he laughs. 

"The tiny owl!", I screamed rushing over to it while Saphira told Skeld what happened. "Oh no! It's still so small ... and it's poor mother! You know, I just started working at the Pet Training Center. So let's at least take the little guy there, I can help!", he explains. 

After Skeld had conjured a lovely looking grave for the dead owl, we went to the PTC. The baby owl sat savely covered in my hand and wouldn't stop looking at me until it finally fell asleep. "Guess, someone has found a new mom!", Skeld says with a grin on his face.
