A Heroine Is Born! (#10)

It was incredible! As soon as we activated our gems Lighane and I became Mermaids! The sunlight was shining through the surface of the lake and an underwater wonderland appeared in front of us. "My family moved here about twenty years ago. They bought a nice piece of land and settled down just before my bigger brother was born.", Saphira explained. 

Like many other prejudices the Merefolk was said to be cruel and heartless. They were infamous for enlaving and torturing weaker creatures. Of course, this only applied to a few tribes. "My family doesn't know what I am up to. They think I am just here for a visit. We will perform the spell tonight, so please don't tell them!", she begged us.

It became darker as we dove deeper into the lake, but glowing stones and gems everywhere were leading the way. Then a gorgeous old mannor appeared in front of us. We swam through an underwater garden with an overgrown pavilion, seagrass and many colorful fishes. When we knocked on the door a guy of around 19 opened the door. "Seth! Hi, so good to see you!", with these words Saphira hugged her older brother. A second later an adorable little seal came welcoming us. Swimming around us like crazy waving it's tail.

"Kisara, hi my good girl!", Saphira says and cuddles the seal.

Saphira was finally back home, but this experience should change her life dramatically...
